I’ve been producing records for 20 years.
I’m a Melbourne-based producer and mix engineer working with bands and solo artists. I’ve tracked and mixed at studios like Sing Sing Recording Studios and The Grove Studios. Every project is different. My job is to support the artist’s vision without flattening the personality out of it. Strong performances, detailed editing, mixes with punch, clarity, and character.
I’m also a multi award-winning sound designer for film, with credits across feature films, shorts, TV pilots, and documentaries. I’ve picked up awards at festivals including Action on Film, Hollywood Dreamz, and Southern California International Film Festival. I work across sound design, dialogue editing, supervising sound editing, and composition.
I’ve been lecturing at Collarts since 2016, teaching audio production and post-production. Helping shape the next generation of engineers is one of the most rewarding things I do.
I’ve also built The Compressor Calculator and The Compression Visualiser. Free tools that help people stop guessing and start hearing what compression actually does.
Whether it’s a record or a film project, I care about the same things. Does it sound great? Does it serve the story? Does it actually make people feel something? That’s what separates good work from forgettable work.
